The Hype Magazine - Gracie Laboy Drops New Single ‘Boricua’

Gracie Laboy’s newest single, “Boricua” has released today! Last month, Gracie released her debut EP, Valencia, which has 4 tracks on it but “Boricua” is Gracie’s second single release ever. However, there is nothing about this single that sounds like it came from a rookie artist.

“Boricua” is a bilignual (a mix of Spanish and English lyrics) track that is a fun and sultry bop. The entire song screams of Puerto Rican pride. The very term, “Boricua” is a colloquial name for a person of Puerto Rican heritage. It is very evident that Gracie Laboy is proud of her roots, and she isn’t afraid to show it.
